Having based himself in Europe during his time as a full-time player, Mark subsequently settled in Belgium, and has coached in various clubs. Currently in Oudenaarde (Recrean). He now plays only in Belgium, heading the Electro Carbone Recrean Eredivisie team (last 2 years Belgian Champions), at No 1 and playing local and National level tournaments.
Mark has already had great success in coaching at a Junior level in Belgium, with many of the players under his guidance being selected for National and Flemish Selection Squads. Jan van den Herrewegen (current) and Tom Demulder (past) are two examples. Future promising players include Florian Bierkens, Dries Verhaegen & Kevin De Maesschalck (all 11 years).
